LD 1018, entitled An Act Regarding Pre-need Funeral Insurance has been introduced to the Maine legislature.  Passage of this bill would permit funeral directors and others to sell pre-need insurance in Maine and take a commission on its sale.  Follow its progress here and contact us, if you would like to learn about the hearing and our input thereto.  Read our current statement here.
